Warming Up the Winter Solstice: A Wrap-Up of ‘Mimosas & Movement’

The winter solstice may mark the shortest day of the year, but for 20 incredible women in Avalon Beach, it was filled with maximum warmth, connection, and energy.

On Saturday, June 20, Bar Elvina and feels@home forces to host our special Winter Solstice Event: ‘Mimosas & Movement’. Held at the beautiful Bar Elvina in Avalon Beach, the morning was a true celebration of what makes our local community so spectacular.

A Morning of Movement and Mindful Connection

The day began in the best way possible - greeted right on the mat with a refreshing, crisp mimosa.

From there, the talented Lauren of feels@home led the group through a beautiful, grounding Pilates class. Designed to shake off the winter chill and channel the shifting energy of the solstice, the session was the perfect blend of challenge, fluid movement, and mindful presence.

Every stretch, laugh, and collective breath was captured flawlessly by the extraordinaire fashion and lifestyle photographer, Corrie Bond. Corrie’s lens perfectly bottled the vibrant energy and effortless elegance of the morning, turning simple moments into lasting memories.

Celebrating Our Avalon Community

More than just a workout, ‘Mimosas & Movement’ was a nod to the power of coming together. Looking around the room at 20 local women supporting one another, laughing, and moving in unison was a gentle reminder of how lucky we are to live in this slice of paradise we call Avalon Beach, NSW.
